Volcano

I was excited and nervous to photograph the Kilauea volcano. Kilauea was fierce and flowed faster than any previous Hawaiian volcano. From locals I learned of their appreciation for life; without doubt they would endure and a humbleness for the island’s energy. My respect for the Earth’s intensity deepened after this experience and I find peace knowing Hawaiians are strong.
